When we first contacted Joan of Waggy Walkers regarding Josh - our Labrador pet - we knew the kind of dog walker we didn't want! At that time, we had made a devastating discovery: the dog walker who had taken on the responsibility of walking Josh every day was not actually walking him. Instead, the would-be dog walker let him out in our small garden and he didn't make it across the garden gate.

From the word go we were reassured by the Waggy Walkers approach and experience. Joan came to our house to discuss our requirements and to make it clear to us what we could expect of her. We learned that Joan has three dogs of her own as well as two horses and, meeting Josh for the first time, it was immediately clear that she had a passion and a flair for animals. From this, we knew that the basis for our new dog walker had been established.

Joan has been walking Josh for 18 months and throughout this time she has demonstrated that she is reliable, consistent, kind-hearted and responsible. Whenever Josh hears Joan's car outside the house, he is instantly at the door, looking up at her and wagging his tail as if to tell her how pleased he is to see her. Even if we happen to be home - there's no stopping him.
